On November 15th, 2016, Marie E. Burns passed away. She was the loving wife of Charles Burns, Sr.; devoted mother of Deborah Schultz, Charles Burns, Jr., Patricia Burns, Donald Burns and his wife Angela; Mary Kay Smith and her husband Frank, and Jacqueline Ruiz and her husband Ignacio; cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and dear sister of Paul Boone, Raymond Boone, Joseph Boone, Betty Morris, and Ruth Smardon. Marie is predeceased by her siblings Walter Boone, Nellie Peters, William Boone, Jr., Evelynn Gartrell, Thomas Boone, and 1 grandson, Richard Schultz, Jr.
Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Thursday, November 17th and Friday, November 18th from 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 19th at 9:30 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Lake View Memorial Park.
