What might be a loss to us is seen as a gift to many others.
Margaret Kathleen Phillips joined her loving husband, George, along with her multiple brothers and sisters on September 28th, 2020.
Margaret, better known as "Marge"or "Margie", was one of the strongest mothers and grandmothers, which seems to run in the Phillips blood. She loved to love and loved to give. She never forgot a birthday and a "quick" phone call with her lasted about 20 minutes or more. Marge was always good for a laugh and if you wanted to hear a good joke, she always had one on standby.
Although luck was never on her side, Margie played the lottery almost weekly. She never won, but each time she got a ticket she would say, "Maybe this time we'll win, could you imagine?!" She was hopeful and optimistic; and this went far beyond playing the lottery.
Marge lived a life full of grace, kindness, and strength up until her very last day. God blessed her 95 years on this earth and she lived out each one to the fullest. Now, she will be living out her life in eternity in the best way possible.
She will be loved and missed by many, especially her daughter Donna and cherished grandchildren Lauren and Matthew.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
