Margaret Amey

Today at 1:38 PM Peacefully on January 8, 2014, MARGARET A. AMEY passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Rupert A. Amey, Jr.; loving mother of Margaret A. "Peggy" Smith and husband Bruce and the late Sharon Lee Amey; cherished grandmother of Cindy Watkins and husband Michael, Toni and Brian Harrison, Joseph Amey and wife Shannon and the late Michael Harrison and her caring niece Cynthia Ann Hicks; great-grandmother of Lisa M. Brand, Shane, Zachary, Jessica and Derek Watkins, Haley and Ian Harrison, Ava Grace and Maxam Amey, and great-great grandmother of Emma Rose Howard and Harrison Michael Brand; dear sister of Dolores, Charles, Marie and Marian. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Family members and friends will honor Margaret's life at our Arbutus location on Friday, January 10,2013 from 3-5PM and 7-9PM where a funeral service will follow on Saturday, January 11, 2014 beginning at 11AM. Interment to follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers at the family's request donations in Margaret's memory may be directed to the Kennedy Krieger Institute, 707 N. Broadway, Baltimore, Maryland 21205.
