Marcelene Rother

Marcelene Elizabeth Rother affectionately known as Marcy, age 72, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2021. She is the beloved wife of James Rother, Jr.; dear sister of Diane Hayes; devoted mother of Kathleen White and her husband Jeffrey, Michele Wingate and her husband Steven, Patricia Tuel and Greg, Douglas Popp, James Rother, III, and Michelle Rother and her wife Melody; cherished Mom-mom of 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; also survived by her lifelong friend Betty Okonski, other loving relatives, and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Thursday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11am followed by burial at Bel Air Memorial Garden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Marcy’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
