In Loving Memory of Lorraine Lynn Hurst

August 6, 1970 - April 14, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved

Lorraine Lynn Hurst (Raine) on Monday, April 14th, in the early morning. She was the cherished

daughter of the late Warren Coolidge Hurst and Sarah Ann Rausenberger, who we are blessed to still have with us, and a loving

sister to Annette, Gary, Rodney, and Chuck. Lorraine's legacy is carried forward by her son,

Michael Bradley Rossi, and her precious grandson, both of whom she adored beyond words.

Lorraine was a woman of strength, compassion, and unwavering resilience. High school

educated, she went on to face the challenges of life with a determination that inspired all who

knew her. She was expressive and caring, always willing to lend an ear, offer advice, or simply

be there when someone needed her. Her heart was full of love, sympathy, and kindness—

qualities that made her a friend to many.

While life was not always easy, Lorraine took full responsibility for her actions, never pointing

fingers at anyone but herself. She built her own path, and despite the struggles, she remained a

person who gave more to others than she took for herself. She was proud of the 25 years of

sobriety she achieved, a monumental accomplishment she held close to her heart. Her strength

and perseverance in staying sober for a quarter of a century was a testament to her willpower and

her love for those around her.

Lorraine’s absence will be deeply felt at family gatherings and parties, where her laughter,

energy, and kindness were always at the center. She had a way of making those around her feel

welcome, cherished, and understood, and she will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and

all who knew her.

As Lorraine now rests in heaven, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace. We love you,

Lorraine, and we wish you well on your journey. You will forever be in our hearts.

WE LOVE YOU AND WISH YOU WELL IN YOUR HEAVEN.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
