Lee Rains

August 12, 1931 — December 13, 2018

Lee Robert Rains, age 87, beloved husband of Dale Rains, died peacefully at home on December 13, 2018. He was a devoted father to his four children, daughter Stacey Rains Troeger and her husband John of Rochester, Minnesota, son Charles Rains and his wife Brigitte of Annapolis, daughter Susan Rains Bell and her husband Wayne of Kennebunkport, Maine, and son Robert Rains of Glen Burnie. He dearly loved his four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother David Rains and is survived by his brother Larry Rains. A graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Lee is a veteran of the Korean War and a 55 year member of the IBEW Local #24. Family members and friends may gather at the family owned and operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 2-5PM. A Memorial Service will take place at 5PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Hospice of the Chesapeake.
