Larry Barford, Sr.

Larry Truman Barford, well-known, long-time plumber passed away peacefully on September 28th 2024. Larry was born on March 5th,1955 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Lansdowne High School in 1973. He joined the Air Force where he became an airplane mechanic. Larry was an active member of Dewey Lowman American Legion post 109 in Arbutus. His passions were muscle car restoration, car racing, hunting, and plumbing and an he was an avid ELVIS fan. He is preceded in death by his father, M. Truman Barford and his mother, Anna "Louise" Barford. He is survived by two children, Larry Jr. and Jennifer Lynn, sisters Donna Wade and Carol Barford, three grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew and many cousins. Also survived by longtime girlfriend, Sherry Hartel.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Thursday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place Friday at 11am followed by burial at Loudon Park Cemetery.
