Kristen Michele Fitzgerald

Kristen Michele passed on February 6th, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family.

She is survived by her two sons; Valan & Kayden, whom she loved until her very last breath! She has also left behind her parents; Karen & Robert Dillsworth and Michael & Nelita Fitzgerald. She was a strong, big sister to all of her siblings; Brittany Fitzgerald, Zachary Pursley, Robbie Dillsworth, Dustin Scranton, Monica Dillsworth, Jordan Dillsworth and Jered Fitzgerald. 

Kristen was greeted lovingly in heaven by her little sister Cali Fitzgerald and her little brother Tyler Pursley. She was always the proudest big sister, constantly bragging on all of them, so we know they were happy to have her. Along with her boys, she leaves behind a large group of nephews and nieces that she loved very much! 

She was also greeted when she arrived to heaven by her grandparents; Lorraine “Maw Maw” Weigmann, James “Pop Pop” Fitzgerald and Jeanette “Mom Mom” Fitzgerald. We know she was given the biggest hugs from them all when she arrived. 

Kristen was an avid book lover and she also enjoyed visiting as many parks and outdoor activities she could journey with her boys in tow to make memories. 

She was born & raised in Maryland, but she also really loved her time living in Florida. She enjoyed playing with all the frogs and lizards there. She especially loved the dragonflies. 

Kristen was a hard worker in the hospitality field for many years, where she was a leader and her customers adored her. Everyone she met will remember her beautiful smile and big, hearty laughter, she was riddled with giggles and only stood just barely 5 feet! She was the most generous, giving soul but she was definitely full of fire if ever crossed. She was a protector and her family ALWAYS came first. The universe will forever be duller and a bit sadder now, but in heaven it’s the brightest it’s ever been with her there. We will miss you forever ❤️
