Kevin James Johnson

Our Warrior has laid down his sword and has gained his heavenly crown, while his brother welcomes him home.

On June 19, Kevin James Johnson entered into rest. Kevin was the beloved son of Wendy Johnson and the late Marion Compton; beloved step-son of Luches Sheffield and Carl Singleton; cherished father of Serenity Johnson; dear uncle of Shirah Busick; brother of Jaylin Sheffield, Rita Compton, and the late Kenny Johnson; grandson of Richard and Barbara Johnson and Diann Sheffield; nephew of Dr. Jodi Johnson, Tammy Posey and husband William, Scott Johnson, Shawn Johnson and wife Arlene, Martest Sheffield, and Camilla Sheffield. Kevin is also survived by a host of other aunts, uncles, family members, and friends.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Thursday June 29th from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm, at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd, Arbutus, MD 21227. Funeral services will be held the following day, June 30th at 10am, at Mount Pisgah A.M.E. Church, 5901 Cedar Fern Ct, Columbia, MD 21044.
