Kathleen Kelly

Kathleen (Kathie) Kelly passed on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the age of 69 after a battle with a prolonged illness. She was born on September 27, 1952, in McLean, Va. Kathie is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Timothy L. Kelly, Jr. and Shirley A. Kelly and her siblings, Michael J. Kelly and Kevin L. Kelly. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Mary Kelly and Anna Grace Kelly, and a son, David Bennett (wife Joanne).   She is also survived by her siblings, Timothy L. Kelly III (wife Laura), Patrick J. Kelly, (wife Kathy), Sean T. Kelly (wife Lisa), Meegan K. O’Donnell, (husband Kevin), and Moira Lethbridge.  Also survived by 2 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a great nephew.

She grew up in McLean, VA as one of 8 children and attended high school and college in the Northern Va. area. She is a graduate of George Washington University’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences as a Nurse Practitioner. Kathie has lived in the Baltimore, Md. Area for the past 32 years. She worked in a variety of health care jobs including Johns Hopkins, St Agnes, and Baltimore County Schools.

Kathie was a long-time parishioner of St Agnes Catholic Church. Her Catholic faith sustained her during her prolonged illness. The people that Kathie loved the most are her two daughters, Theresa and Anna. Kathie was a great lover of animals and had 5 small rescued dogs.

Kathie will be greatly missed by the many friends that she has made over the years.

A viewing will be held at St. Agnes Church 5422 Old Frederick Rd, Baltimore, MD 21229 on Thursday from 10am - 11am with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11am.  The live stream of the mass can be viewed at: www.facebook.com/Saints AW
