Katherine E. Piazza, age 89, passed away on April 22, 2017 in Arbutus, Maryland surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 17, 1928 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Frederick Norris and Grace Norris (nee Woodring). She is the beloved wife of the late Samuel R. Piazza, Sr.; loving mother of Robert Piazza and his wife Cathy, David Piazza and his wife Maureen, and Samuel Piazza, Jr. and his wife Kim; cherished grandmother of Toni Piazza, Christina Arnold, Kelly Trent, and Samantha Piazza, and great grandmother Bryce, Logan, Liam, and Olivia; dear sister of Shirley Wright, James Norris, John Norris, the late Mary Jane Gorrick, and the late Thelma Petrusik. Also, survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends will honor Katherine’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME (Arbutus) with a public viewing Monday, 5/1/17 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a funeral service will follow on Tuesday, 5/2/17 beginning 11am. Interment to follow in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
