Katherine Evans

Katherine Evans sadly passed away on October 27, 2017. She is the beloved wife of the late Freddie Evans; loving mother of Valerie Smith, Emma Fleishman, the late Freddie Jay Evans, the late Sheila Booker, Donna Corwell, and Karen Heffler; caring grandmother of Sherry Frome, Daniel Batchellor, Ned Batchellor, Jay Breitenbach, John Booker, Jennifer Corwell, Kelly Padden, Dennis McNally, Heather McNally, and Michael McNally; cherished great-grandmother of Jesse, Savanah, Kelsey, Kloey, Gage, Gavin, Karly, Kacy, Avery, Robert, Destiny, Trinity, Jazmine, Heaven, Nevaeh, Brandon, Justin, Ryan, Rebecca, Logan, Caitlin, Jasmine, Vincent, Natalie, and Michael, Jr.; dear great-great-grandmother of Ava and Marigold. Katherine was a master scrabble player, lover of word search puzzles, and never left home without her coffee and cigarettes.  Her restaurant of choice was Bob Evans for their gravy and biscuits, which weren't as good as her own, but came closest to homemade.  She loved her family and friends and was known as "Granny" to nearly everyone who walked through her door.

Family members and friends may gather at the family owned and operated Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 for a public viewing on Wednesday 3-5PM and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Thursday at 11:30AM. Interment will be at Baltimore National Cemetery.
