Joyce Mcgovern

Joyce Marie McGovern , age 70, passed away on February 24, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland. She is the beloved wife of Karl John McGovern; loving mother of Leah Goss and her husband Chris, Victoria McGovern Parks and her husband Jeff, and John McGovern and his wife Kristina; cherished grandmother of Eric Parks and Christopher Goss. Also, survived by nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.
Joyce’s family loved when she would prepare her delicious fried chicken for dinner. Her favorite color was lavender. She enjoyed watching the birds and hearing them sing. She also found great pleasure in collecting birds and birdhouses. Lastly, Joyce loved to eat crab cakes and spaghetti. Joyce will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family members and friends will honor Joyce’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, Maryland 21227 on Monday, 2/29/16 with a public viewing from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, at the family’s request donations in Joyce’s memory may be directed to a charity of your choice.
