Josephine Kapustka

Peacefully on November 1, 2016, Josephine Kapustka; beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of John and Irene; preceded in death by her siblings; she is also survived by her son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren.
Josephine was born on December 25, 1925 in Dobra, Poland.  After the Nazi invasion, she was placed in a Nazi slave labor camp and was later liberated by the United States Army.  She worked for them in Germany until 1947 when the U.S. government arranged for her to come to the United States.  Josephine later moved to New York where she married and eventually raised a family as a citizen of the United States.
