Joseph Mellott

On March 2, 2014 JOSEPH REESE MELLOTT passed away. He was the loving husband of Karen Mellott; devoted father of Kerri Hewitt and her husband Morris, III, and the late Kristi Lynn Moore; cherished grandfather of Aric Cameron Moore, Corrie Felicia Mellott, and Laci Tyler Mellott; beloved son of the late Ellwood E. Mellott and the late Gladys C. Springer; loving brother of Edward E. Mellott and his wife Janet; dear brother-in-law of The late Donald C. Schumacher and his wife Joan. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Family and friends may visit at the family owned AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Church of the Ascension, 4603 Poplar Ave., Halethorpe, Maryland 21227 beginning at 10AM.Interment will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. Donations may be made in Joseph's name to Gilchrist Hospice Center, 6336 Cedar Lane, Columbia, Maryland 21044.
