Jonathan Shockney

Jonathan ‘Jon’ Shockney, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1988 to Charles and Nancy Shockney. Jon is the beloved brother of Micah Shockney and his partner Daniel Watkins; loving grandson of Mary Shockney. He also leaves his dear cat to cherish his memory, Ellie. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Jon is preceded in death by his brother Jeremery Shockney and his grandparents Gene and Shiela Dawson and Charles Shockney, Sr.

A viewing will take place on Thursday at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd, Halethorpe MD 21227 from 10:30am – 12:30pm with a funeral service beginning at 12:30pm. Burial will take place at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Jon’s memory to First Baptist Church Westernport Fellowship Hall, 109 Philos Ave, Westernport, MD 21562.
