Jon Montady

Jon “Ted” Montady, age 81, sadly passed away on August 4th, 2021. Jon was born in the Philippines to the late Cecilio Tady & the late Maria Tady (nee Altamirano). He is the loving father of Melissa Miller (Kenny), Brandy Brinkley (GiGi), Barry Rice (Apryl), & Glenn Clevenger (Karen); cherished grandfather of Desarae Rice, Damonte Montady, Daeton Montady, Tristan Miller, Solara Miller, Malachi, Ladamien, & Kymani; dear brother of Maria Tady Deramos, & Conrado Tady; caring uncle of Patricia Clevenger He is also survived by his household family, Jimmy Tess, Aimee, Chelsea, James & May along with many other loving friends.

Jon loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. When not with them, he enjoyed calling everyone to see what they were doing. He always wanted to make sure the family was doing good. He will be dearly missed.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, Maryland 21227 for a public visitation on Saturday, August 7th  from 10:00am-12:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
