John "Bubba" Major, Jr.

John “Bubba” Major, Jr., age 82, peacefully passed away on January 12th, 2022. John was born in Newport News, Virginia to the late John Major, Sr. & the late Lillian Major (nee Moody). He is the devoted husband of the late Nancy Major; loving father of Sherry Dudley (& her husband John) & Scott Major; beloved grandfather of John (Kaitlyn), Justin (& his wife Laura), Nicole (& her husband Darwin), & Lindsay; cherished great-grandfather of Kierstin, Adrian, Carter, Mason, & Jackson; dear brother of Lee (his late wife Betty & current wife Joann), Dorothy (& her late husband Windsor), the late Ruth (& her late husband Max), the late James (& his wife Virginia), & the late Patricia (& her husband Tim). John is also survived by many loving friends.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Wednesday, January 19th from 3:00-5:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 20th at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
