John Lowther

John David Lowther, affectionately known as “Fruit Loop”, age 73, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2022. He is the beloved partner to Patricia “Sissy” Buss; cherished father of Missy and her husband Jason and Tracy and her husband James Bury, Sr. and step father of Patty Farley and Bobby Buss; cherished Pop Pop of multiple grand and great grandchildren including James Bury, Jr., Kaitlyn and Sara Lawson; great grandchildren include Olivia, Stevie, Skyla, Aubrey and his soon to be newest addition Elliott (EJ); dear brother of Ronald and his wife, Duane, Danny and his wife, Joey and his wife, Shirley and her husband, and Thelma. John is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Virginia Endley and William Lowther and his siblings William “Butch”, Patricia, Bobby, Peggy, Charles, and Eddie. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Thursday, September 1st from 3:00-5:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 2nd at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
