John Knecht

John A. Knecht, age 87, passed away on June 15, 2018. He is the beloved son of the late Martin J. Knecht, Sr. and the late Rita Knecht (nee Shannahan). Dear brother of the late DeSales Ring, Alice Jarboe, Rita Moxley, Martin Knecht, Henry Knecht, Daniel Knecht and Mickey Knecht. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family members and friends will honor John’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD 21227 with a public viewing on Tuesday from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday beginning at 11am. Interment to follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in John’s memory may be directed to the American Legion Post 109, 1610 Sulphur Spring Rd.,Arbutus, MD 21227.
