John Dunnigan, Sr.

John Francis Dunnigan, age 85, sadly passed away on March 14, 2022. He was born on May 9, 1936 to the late Lawrence Dunnigan, Sr. and the late Helen Dunnigan. John is the beloved husband of the late Shirley Dunnigan; devoted father of Brenda Onisko, John Dunnigan, Jr., Shirley Dillow and her husband James Dillow, Sr., Hope Compton and her husband Kevin Compton, Sr.; father-in-law of Debbie Dunnigan; dear Pop of Billy Joyave, Gene Balcita, Sr., Angie McCormick, Jimmy Dillow, Penny Dillow, John Dunnigan, III, Mary Sheldon, Rick Parks, and Kelly Parks and great grandchildren Kevin Compton, Jr., Amanda Compton, Brandi Dunnigan, Briyana McCormick, (Baby Reece), Austin Joyave, Zach Joyave, Nathan Dillow, Gene Balcita, Jr., Chasity Stencil, Justin Balcita, Dustin Balcita, BB Balcita, Korin Balcita, Ashley Turner, Zach Digangi, Rick Parks, Jr., and Lexi Taylor and 10 great great grandchildren; brother of the late Doug Dunnigan, Sr., and the late Boze Dunnigan, Sr., survived by Lawrence Dunnigan, Jr., Olie Coburn, Millie Wheeler, James Dunnigan, and Pat Sapunto; also loved and survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A public viewing will be held at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Friday, March 18 from 3 PM to 5 PM and from 7 PM to 9 PM, where a funeral service will be held n Saturday, March 19 at 1 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
