John Brohawn

December 22, 1920 — May 29, 2014

On Thursday, May 29, 2014 JOHN CHARLES "BUCK" BROHAWN passed away at the Manor Care in Kingston, PA. Buck was a Naval Electricians Mate during World War II. As a Navy Veteran, he had been stationed in Key West & Hollywood Florida. He later became the manager of Jackson Paint Company for 41 years. Buck loved to garden, read and his Orioles Baseball Team.

Buck was the devoted son of the late Gladys Wood & William G. Brohawn; step-son of Myrtle Brohawn. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, the late Bernadette M. Brohawn; his granddaughter the late Donna L. Krushinski &Buck's great-grandson, the late Jonathan Walski. Buck is survived by his loving daughters Bonnie L. Walski & her husband Walter and Shirley A. Orem & her husband Denny. He was the cherished grandfather of David Walski, Nicholas Orem, Christopher Orem, and Kimberly Orem. He is the cherished great-grandfather of Colleen, Jordan, & Jared Walski, Kyle & Eric Krushinski, and Malakai & Akian Orem. Buck is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Relatives & Friends may call at our LANSDOWNE location on Monday between 3-5 & 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at St. Clements I Catholic Church, 2700 Washington Ave., Lansdowne, MD. 21227. Interment for Buck will be held at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD 21229.
