Joan Simmons

On July 18, 2016 Joan L. Simmons, peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loving family; beloved wife of the late Francis Simmons, Jr.; loving mother of Jenifer (and husband Melvin) Clopein; grandmother of Zachary, and Olivia; great-grandmother of Makenzy, cherished sister of Amelia Cox, Wayne Benson, and the late Duke Benson; also survived by many other loving nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Family members and friends may visit at the Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Sunday from 6-9pm, where a Funeral Service will be held Monday at 12:30pm. Interment following at the Veterans Cemetery of Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to assist in her funeral expenses.
