Jessie Colson

Jessie Marie Colson , age 91, passed away on May 3, 2016 in Linthicum, Maryland surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 25, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Jesse L. Dunnock and Mary R. Hayden; beloved wife of the late Norman Colson, Sr.; loving mother of Norman Colson, Jr. and his wife Anita, and Catherine Rice-Lippard; cherished grandmother of Lauren Ashby and her husband Andrew, Michele Graham and her husband Justus, IV, Brian Rice, and great-grandmother of David Ashby, Ava Ashby and Justus Graham, V. Also, survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Family members and friends will honor Jessie’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 with a public visitation on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clement Catholic Church, 2700 Washington Ave., Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Friday, May 6, 2016 beginning at 10am. Interment to follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers at the family's request donations may be directed in Jessie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Maryland , 1850 York Road, #D, Timonium, Maryland 21093.
