Jeanne Sobus
November 27, 1938 — January 4, 2017
Jeanne R. Sobus (nee King), age 78, passed away on January 4, 2017. She is the beloved wife of Robert Sobus; loving mother of Michael (Brenda) T. O’Connor, John P. O’Connor and Colleen (Tim) E. Utzig; cherished grandmother of Kimberly O’Connor, Brandon O’Connor, Nicholas Utzig, Timothy Utzig, Jr.; caring great grandmother of Arianna, Natalie, Kariannah and Sofia; dear sister of Joanne R. Russell and the late James P. King. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Jeanne will be remembered for her love of playing cards, camping, having steamed crabs, and cheering on her beloved Orioles. We know that she is enjoying her Natural Light beer and cuddling with her Shelby and Molly.
She loved her family with all of her heart and will always be remembered for her witty, fun-loving personality.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD 21227 on Monday, January 9 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Ascension, 4603 Poplar Ave, Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Tuesday, January 10 at 11am followed by interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
