Janis Ann Ridgway

On June 21 Janis Ann Ridgway passed away. Born to the late Philip and Catherine Amrhein in Baltimore MD, and loving sister to the late Philip Amrhein. Janis was the loving wife of Ronald Ridgway; the dearest sister-in-law to Anna Amrhein; dearest cousin to Connie Andrews; beloved aunt to Jack Amrhein and his wife Kathy and Paul Amrhein and his wife Belinda; and adored great aunt to Julien, Lucie, and Adrien.

On the Ridgway side of the family Janis was the cherished sister-in-law to Barbara Leary, Jean Prevezanos, Joan Burton, Jane Mature, and May Ziginheim. Janis is also survived by many other loving family, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Janis is preceded in death by her beloved in-laws John Ridgway, Mary Meskill, Ellen Crout, Robert

Ridgway, Frances Sparrow, Charles Ridgway, Elizabeth Kessler, Raymond Ridgway, Eileen Brooks, Agnes Bieman, Tommy Ridgway, and Donny Ridgway.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Tuesday June 27th from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm at

Ambrose Funeral Home in Lansdowne (2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd, Lansdowne, MD 21227) with a funeral service at 5pm.

Burial is at Meadow Ridge Cemetery (7250 Washington Blvd. Elkridge , Maryland , 21075) on Thursday June 29th at 1:45pm. Procession starts 1pm at Ambrose Funeral Home.
