James William Schoonmaker, age 73, passed away on September 26, 2020. Born on October 1, 1946 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Tracy and Lorraine Schoonmaker. James is the husband of Anna Schoonmaker; loving father of William Schoonmaker and John Schoonmaker; cherished brother of Gary Schoonmaker, Tracy White, the late Mark Schoonmaker, the late Kent Schoonmaker, Brian Schoonmaker, Todd Schoonmaker, and Kathy Schoonmaker; devoted friends of Vincent Sanzone and Kandy Sanzone. James was the oldest of eight children and proudly served during the Vietnam War.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 on Friday from 6pm-8pm and Saturday from 10am-12pm followed by a graveside service at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
