James G. Murphy

James G. Murphy, age 67, sadly passed away on March 27, 2024. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Thomas and Thelma Murphy. James was the beloved husband of the late Mary Murphy; loving father of Chelsea Geppi; caring brother of the late Thomas Murphy, Jr. and the late Peggy Goodnow; cherished uncle of Kelly Geppi, Daisha Davies, Erica Schlothauer (Zylah), Victor Gusilatar, Jerry Goodnow, Cindy Phillips, and Dawn Holden. He is also survived by many other loving family and friends. James is predeceased by his loving dog, Mindy.

Family and friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Friday, April 5 from 10:00am-12:00pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the funeral home in James’s name to help offset funeral expenses.
