James Mclaughlin

James A. McLaughlin, age 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 19, 2017. He is the beloved husband of Maureen S. McLaughlin; devoted father of Kiel McLaughlin and Kathy McLaughlin; loving son of Marylee Powers; cherished brother of Judy Pennington, Kerry McLaughlin, Lon McLaughlin, and Kevin Powers; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Jim graduated from The Cardinal Gibbons School in 1969. He enjoyed being the general manager for Record and Tape Collector. While he wasn’t working he was spending countless hours at the Arbutus Little League Field with his children. Jim loved watching the Orioles and the Baltimore Colts.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24 from 1-3pm and 5-7pm with a wake service at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Jim’s memory to the Arbutus Little League, Baltimore County SPCA, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
