Irene Lyons

Irene Alma Lyons affectionately known as ‘Nan’ age 91, passed away on December 28, 2016 in Westminster, Maryland. Irene was born on January 27, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Oscar William Lundquist and the late Bertha Mae Lundquist (nee Hamilton). Beloved wife of the late George William Lyons; loving mother of John William Lyons, Michele Maker and her husband Dan, Richard Lyons and his wife Mollie; cherished grandmother of Christina, Danny, Nicholas, JoAnna, and great grandmother of Allison, Evan, Emma and Lauren; dear sister of Edna Mae Gaisior. Irene is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Family members and friends will honor Irene’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC. Arbutus with a public viewing on Monday, 1/2/17 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at the Arbutus United Methodist Church, 1201 Maple Ave., Halethorpe 21227 on Tuesday, 1/3/17 beginning at 1pm. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Irene's memory may be directed to the Arbutus United Methodist Church Memorial Fund and to the Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157
