Imelda Kuruc

Sadly on November 30, 2013, Imelda C. Kuruc (nee Preble) passed away. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Kuruc; devoted mother of Michael, Jonathan and wife Paula, William, Denise and husband Edward; cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Jr., Amanda, and Julianna. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. At the age of 50 Imelda began writing the Lansdowne column for the Arbutus Times for 30 years. As well as being a choir member, she was actively involved in many committees with St. Clement I Catholic Church. She was a well known member of the Lansdowne-Baltimore Highlands Senior Center. There will be a public viewing for Mel at our Lansdowne location on Tuesday, December 3rd from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Clement I Catholic Church, 2700 Washington Ave., Lansdowne on Thursday, December 5th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mel's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Rd., Ste. D, Timonium, MD 21093.
