Hye Y. Park sadly passed away on January 3, 2019 at the age of 62. She is the loving wife of Ted Hammerstein; beloved mother of Hercules Pozerekides (Fiancee Christine Kim); cherished daughter of the late Hun Park & the late Mang Park; dear granddaughter of the late Sanghoon Park & the late Myunghee Lee; caring sister of Eungyun Park (Agejung Ki), Hyunggyun Park (Younghwa Jung), & Jingyun Park; cherished aunt of Sungwon Park, Miyoung Park, Jihyun Park, Jisun Park, Jinbae Park, Soonwon Park, Jisang Park, & Sunjin Park. She’s preceded in death by her first husband Theo Pozirikides and his family including: brother Dimitrios Pozerekides (Children: Pandora Baboukis & George Baboukis); Sisters Vicky Tzolis (Children: Maria Gagliano, Mario Gagliano, Daniela Gagliano, Victoria Gagliano, & Jack Gagliano), Soula Pozerekides (Children: Pandora Randall, David Randall, Melissa Randall, Angelica Randall, & Chris Randall), & Thalia Pozerekides; brothers Simon Pozerekides (Children: Tani Pozerekides & Troy Pozerekides), Theo Pozerekides, & Steve Pozerekides; cousins Lefko Horner (Children: Marc Karagianis & Greg Karagianis), & Diti Lawson (Child: Mitch Lawson); Aunt Dimitra (Child: Constance); daughters Sonia Pozerekides (Child: Stefan Pozerekides), Vicky Pozerekides; & Pandora Pozerekides; Nephew Alex Pozerekides;  Cousin Thei Cherry (Children: James Cherry & Dorianne Cherry).

Family members and friends may gather at the family owned and operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc. 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd. Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 4-7PM. A funeral service will be held at 5PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hye’s name to The Church of the Philippi, 7422 Race Rd, Hanover, MD 21076.
