Herbert G. O’Connor , age 92, passed away suddenly, on February 28, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was born on December 30, 1923 at home in Highlandtown, Maryland. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth Mildred O’Connor; dear brother of Ethel Lynch and the late Earle F. O’Connor, Hugh T. "Patty" O’Connor and John J. O’Connor. Herb is also, survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and a great-great nephew.
Family members and friends will honor Herbert’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Friday, 3/4/16 with a public visitation from 10am-11:30am where funeral service will follow at 11:30am. Interment to follow in Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Herbert’s memory may be directed to the American Legion Dewey Loman Post 109, 1610 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, Maryland 21227.
