Herbert Jacober

Herbert C. “Jake” Jacober, age 95, passed away on February 23, 2018 in Catonsville, Maryland. Jake was born on September 5, 1922 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late  Lillian Jacober (nee Crawford) and Herbert Henry Jacober. He is the beloved husband of 42 years to Doris Jacober and 25 years to the late Mary Jacober; loving father of Diane Jacober Markert and her husband Wayne, Linda Powell, Wayne Jacober and his wife Liz, and Michael Jacober and his wife Carol. Cherished grandfather of Heather, Gillian, Kathleen, Daniel, David, Andrew, Rachel, Rebecca, Amanda and Vrndavana, and great grandfather of six.

Family members and friends will honor Jake’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD 21227 with a public viewing on Monday from 2-4pm & 6-8pm where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday beginning at 12pm. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
