Henry Ott, Sr.

Unexpectedly, on March 26, 2016 Henry W. Ott, Sr., age 69, passed away in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the youngest of four children, born on August 13, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Henry P. Ott and Ruth P. Ott (nee Conway); loving father of Marie Ott, Shelby Burkhead, Henry W. Ott, Jr., Vena Sasser, and step father of Robert A. Lease; cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of many; brother of Patricia Recker and her husband Robert; uncle of George A. Recker; ex-husband of Sandra Marsh. Also, survived by other relatives and friends.

Henry was a hard worker. He loved to attend car shows. His favorite color was purple. Henry loved to eat Baked Mac & Cheese and Crab Cakes. He loved the song Danny Boy. He was known by many as Alabama and Porkie. To know him was to love him. Forever in our hearts and never forgotten.

Family members and friends will honor Henry’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD with a public viewing on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm. Interment private.
