Helen Theresa Costa, age 89, passed away on December 25, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland. Helen was born on September 22, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Charles Aro and Helen Aro (nee Butler). Helen is the beloved wife of the late Louis Costa; loving mother of Louis J. Costa and his wife Suzanne, Nicholas Costa and his wife Cindy, Joseph Costa and his wife Lisa; cherished grandmother of Nicole, Blaire, Damon, Lauren, Michael, Allison, Paige, Jamie, David and Dominic, and great grandmother of Lola and Emmee; dear sister of Charles Aro; caring cousin of Nicholas Rulli, Jr. and his wife Debbie, Nicholas Rulli,III , Janice Rulli and Nancy Wade.
Family members and friends will honor Helen’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus with a public viewing on Wednesday, 12/28/16 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, 12/29/16 beginning at 11am. Interment to follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, at the family's request you may direct donations in Helen's memory to St.Benedicts Church, 2612 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore,MD 21223, Caritas House Assisted Living, 3308 Benson Ave.,Baltimore, MD 21227 or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
