Helen Anderson

Helen Agnes Anderson, a resident of the Baltimore area, passed away on Monday July 24th, 2017 at her home after enduring her battle with cancer. Helen was born on September 29, 1939 and lived in the Maryland area for her entire life. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Jon A. Anderson Sr; the mother of Jon A Anderson Jr., David Anderson, Joseph Anderson, James Anderson and his husband Brian, William Anderson; the sister of Charlotte, Carolyn, Joan, Evelyn, and Lorraine; the grandmother to Leah, Kevin, Timmy, Aeriel, Joseph, Jr., Jeffrey, James, Jacob, Tiffany, Patricia, Phillip, Nathaniel and Justin, and the great-grandmother of five great grandchildren; and the aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Helen is preceded in death by her two brothers Joseph and Henry; and one sister, Lillian

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne on Monday, July 31 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11am followed by burial in Maryland Veteran Cemetery in Crownsville. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation in her name be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
