Harvey Councilman

Harvey Councilman, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on July 31, 2022. He is the beloved husband of the late Mary Clara Councilman; devoted father of Michael Councilman and his wife Edith, Mary Susan Prahme, the late Mark Timothy Councilman and his wife Jody and Kevin McKenna, and the late Theresa Ann Ringgold; Loving Grandfather of James Councilman and his wife Sarah, Timothy Nevins, and Kenneth Nevins; dear brother of June Kautsch and Marvin Councilman and his wife Cathy. Harvey is also survived by many other family members and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Friday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10am at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 300 W Maple Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 with burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Harvey’s memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
