Harry Hedges

Harry Leslie Hedges, born on May 25, 1955 to Madeline V. & Harry E. Hedges.

After being ill at home, Harry peacefully passed at home with his devoted pet Missy by his side. Harry was raised primarily in Lansdowne, MD, where he resided the majority of his life. He was a staunch protector of animals and our environment. He loved the mountains, camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, and of course the ocean. He enjoyed the community at the Methodist Church of Lansdowne for their Wednesday night dinners over the past 8 years or so.

Harry didn't make enemies. Anyone who met him liked him as he always had a smile, a helping hand and a chuckle. He was a life long friend and was married for over 31 years to Debbie Lynn. The last 10 years Harry has stepped up to the plate assisting his father-in-law and mother-in-law in their aging times. He also tended to his mom and his uncle Shorty. Harry was a long standing good member of our community who always helped anyone who was down on their luck, in a tight spot or was in need. His kind heart was often his worst trait. He is loved by multiple cousins, his aunt Amelia Hicks, neighbors, friends, including his mother-in-law Dixie Yankulov and will be missed dearly.

A Memorial will be planned for the spring around his birthday.
