Gwendolyn Morel

Gwendolyn Jean Morel, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2021. She is the beloved wife of the late John A. Morel; devoted mother of J. Michael Morel and his wife Lori, Maribeth Morel-Smith and her husband Bruce, and Lydia Keys and her husband Richard; grandmother of Jane Morel, Jacob Morel, Garrett Smith, Luke Morel, Conner Keys, Maddy Keys, and Jenna Keys; dear sister of Veronica White and the late Evelyn Hemler and the late Marlyn Schreiber; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at Candle Light Funeral Home by Craig Witzke, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at St. Clement Catholic Church at 10am followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be a luncheon to follow the burial at the Arbutus Fire Hall.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Gwendolyn’s memory to St. Clement Catholic Church.
