Grace Cavey (Nee Byrnes)

On September 15, 2019, Grace Marian Cavey (nee Byrnes) , age 93, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home. She is the beloved wife of the late M. Franklin Cavey, Jr.; loving mother of Sharon Carmody and her husband Neal, Kent Cavey and his wife Debbie, and the late M. Franklin Cavey, III and survived by his wife Vicki; cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Donna Hollywood, Ramona Flower, John Byrnes, Jr., the late Frederick Byrnes, the late Robert Byrnes, and the late Radiance Smith. Also, survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Family members and friends will honor Grace’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Arbutus) with a public viewing on Thursday from 2pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of the Ascension, 4603 Poplar Ave., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Friday beginning at 10:30am. Interment will be private. At the family’s request in lieu of flowers donations in Grace’s memory may be directed to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, 6215 W. 24th St., Greeley, CO 80634
