On November 23, 2019, Glen Robert Garbedian lost his 25 year battle with cancer. He died peacefully at home surrounded by love. He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Smith Garbedian; loving children, (son) Zachary Garbedian, (daughter) Chelsie Le Grand; (son-in-law) Gus Le Grand; (brother) John C. Garbedian & his wife Jennifer Garbedian; (nephews) Justin Garbedian & his wife Stephanie Garbedian, Josuha Garbedian & his wife Jessica Garbedian; (niece) Jonica Ficeto & her husband Nick Ficeto; (sister-in-law) Kim Smith with Craig Etheridge; (mother-in-law) Barbara Smith with Keith Loveless; (nieces) Jennifer Spindler, Melissa McNicholas with husband Jeremy McNicholas; 10 great-nephews, Hayden, Jaxton, Van, Rocco, Nico, Leo, Maddox, Milo, Jordan, Jackson; 4 great-nieces, Hailey, Bella, Meadow, Juliana; (aunt) Martha Thompson; (cousins) John Thompson, Christina Thompson, and Jim Thompson.
Glen was preceded in death by his (father), Robert Allen Garbedian, (mother), Elizabeth Marie (Foley) Garbedian, (father-in-law), Robert James Smith, Jr., (brother-in-law), Robert James Smith, III, and (uncle) Jack Thompson.
Glen was born in Long Island, New York. He served in the U.S. Navy after high school. He moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he began his own real estate/construction business.
A Memorial Mass is being held at Ascension Church, 4603 Poplar Ave, Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Saturday, December 7th at 11am followed by a "Celebration of life" reception to begin at 12:30pm at the American Legion, 1610 Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227.
