Gilbert Austin Locklear

Gilbert Austin Locklear, age 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 15, 2024. He was born on May 15, 1943 to the late John and Aggie Locklear. Gilbert is the beloved husband of over 50 years to Maxine Locklear; cherished father of Crystal Aldaba and her husband Michael, Diana Locklear-Carter and her husband William, Robbie Locklear and Cindy Locklear; devoted Poppy of Shianiah Jackson, Kamron Jackson, Jayla Jackson, Trenton Carter and great grandchildren Aleena Chase and Dezmine Stokes; dear brother of Janice Graham, Douglas Locklear, Stanton Locklear, and Kenneth Locklear; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Gilbert is preceded in death by his siblings Geraldine, Elsie, Frances, John, Tweety, and Carlin.
