Georgia Mae “Dukie” McGill , age 79, passed away on July 11, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born on February 22, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Joseph Meadows and Elsie Meadows (nee Young). Georgia was the beloved wife of the late Douglas McGill; loving mother of Gino Angel and his wife Maggie, Debbie Palmer, Georgia Fisher and her husband Gordon, Sherrie Auburger, Brenda Acevedo and her husband Vernon and the late Gina Naylor; cherished grandmother of Vince, Kristy, Dana, Bunny, James, Douglas, Barry, Selina, Lisa, Samantha, Josh, Shanee, Mike and the late Tike and Corey; great-grandmother of Little Gino, AJ, Kristen, Kaylee, Joshie, Rachel, Brionna, VJ, Destiny, Alissa, Chase, Cameron, Kyndall, DJ, Trinity, Bell, Gabe, Jordan, Makayla, Marrisa, Jona and Hanna; dear sister of Sue Mathis, Doris Walter, Eugene Meadows and the late Jimmy Meadows. Also survived by numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends will honor Georgia’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE on Friday 7/15/16 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a funeral service will follow on Saturday 7/16/16 beginning at 12:30pm. Interment to follow in New Cathedral Cemetery.
