Franklin Earl Potter, age 91, passed away on peacefully January 11, 2017 In Glen Burnie, Maryland. Frank was born on October 21, 1925 in Lansdowne, Maryland to the late Benjamin Franklin Potter and the late Thelma Potter (nee Brown). He is the beloved husband of Agnes Helen Potter; loving father of Terrance L. Potter and his wife Patricia, Timothy E. Potter and his wife Nancy, Patrick J. Potter and his companion Terry Milesky, Maureen Potter and her companion Harry Frank, and the late Francis Shawn Potter and his wife Cindy Potter Hentz and her husband Tim; cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; dear brother of Patricia Strumsky and the late Thomas Potter. Also, survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends will honor Franklin’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Sunday from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Clements Church, 2700 Washington Ave., Lansdowne, MD on Monday beginning at 11am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in Franklin’s memory may be directed to the VFW 327, 22 5th Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21227.
