On October 14, 2012, FLORENCE E. SIMMONS a longtime Avon Representative of Southwest Baltimore passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin Thomas Simmons, Sr.; loving mother of Marvin T. Simmons, Jr. and his wife JoAnn, Juanita Smith and her husband Charles, and Linda and her husband Rev. Charles Maudie; cherished grandmother of five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; Dear sister of Lorraine Rose-Hill. Also suvived by the "Avon Girls" from Southwest Baltimore.
Family and friends will honor Florence's life at our Lansdowne location on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 3-5PM and 7-9PM where a funeral service will follow on Friday, October 19, 2012 beginning at 10am. Interment Crownsville Veterans Cemetery on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 10AM. At the family's request donations in Florence's name may be directed to a Charity of your choice.
