Eleanor " El" O'Neale
August 13, 1937 — July 20, 2015
On July 20, 2015 Eleanor “El” O’Neale; devoted wife of George S. O’Neale, Sr.; loving mother of Peg and her husband Chip Kendall, Penny and her husband Chris Smith, George S. O’Neale, Jr. and his wife Donna, Helene and her husband Barry Kecken,Sr. and Doug O’Neale; cherished Gran of 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; also survived by her brother, Frederick Bennett and sister, Peggy Rouss. Throughout the years, El has also lovingly cared for numerous foster children.
Family members and friends may visit at AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, on Saturday from 3-5 and 7-9PM where a service will be held at 4:30 to conclude the first viewing session. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed in El’s name to the St. Jude’s Tribute Program P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101.
