Eleanor M. Polek

On April 10. 2023 Eleanor M. Polek “Ellie” passed away surrounded by family at home.  She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Polek; loving mother of Robert William Polek and his wife Helen & James Walter Polek and his wife Barbara; cherished grandmother of Karen Kennedy, Terri Orofino, Kelly Fargher, Meghan Snyder, Jamie Ainsworth & great-grandmother of Robert, Ryan, Emma, Nicholas, Kasey, Jimmy, Joseph, Brendan, Isabella, Michael James, Lily Marie, and Joseph William, Connor Matthew, Brendan Christopher; Ellie is predeceased by her siblings & is survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Family members and friends may visit the Ambrose Funeral Home in Arbutus on Friday April 14th from 4-6PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 15th at 12:30PM at The Church of the Ascension in Halethorpe, MD.  The interment will immediately follow in the New Cathedral Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed in Ellie’s name to the Hospice of the Chesapeake.
