Elaine Wirt

Elaine Wirt, age 94, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023. She was born on August 10, 1928 to the late Fred and Mary Towle. Elaine is the beloved wife of the late Edward P. Wirt, Sr.; devoted mother of Patricia Petite and Edward P. Wirt, Jr. and his wife Pamela Wirt; cherished grandmother of Melinda Rutledge and great grandmother of Nickolas Petite and Chole Rutledge; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Monday, May 22nd from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place Tuesday at 10am followed by burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Elaine's memory to Visiting Nurse Association of Hanover of Spring Grove, 440 North Madison Street, Hanover PA 17331.
