Edwin Rust, Sr.

Edwin E. Rust, Sr., age 94, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2019. Edwin is the beloved husband of Maxine Rust; cherished father of Edwin E. Rust, Jr. and his wife Terry, Dwight D. Rust, Sr. and his wife Robin, and Norman A. Rust and his wife Kim; loving grandfather of seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; dear brother of Mary Rust, and David Rust and his wife Pam. Edwin is also survived by nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his brothers L. Oscar Rust, Jr., Norman Rust, and Harry Rust.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 on Wednesday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10am followed by burial at Poplar Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Edwin’s memory to Halethorpe Community Church 1312 Francis Ave, Halethorpe, MD 21227 or to Helping Up Mission 1029 E Baltimore St, Baltimore, MD 21202.
